Fondue in a hot air balloon

Travel from Interlaken high into the mountains, take in the starlit winter panorama and then zip down the 1 hour moonlit sled run. Along the way the trail winds through the woods, crosses alpine meadows and passes majestic frozen waterfalls.

Overnight in an Igloo village

Spending a night in an igloo village is truly special. Something that will make others curious and which you will love talking about in future. A cosy night’s sleep is guaranteed in the warm winter expedition sleeping bags. The romantic igloos are lined with lambskin and designed by international artists. Each is different – perfect for special moments. The igloo village also boasts a hot tub. Guides look after the guests, spoiling them with homemade mulled wine and a traditional cheese fondue. The activities on offer are weather-dependent in each case.

Every Thursday evening from January to March, the Gornergrat Railway takes you up the Gornergrat. Local star gazing guide Peter Salzmann introduces visitors to the constellations under an incomparable starry sky. He also shows you how to navigate using a star chart, and throws in a few selected myths about the Greek gods for good measure. This will be followed by an all-you-can-eat Fondue Chinoise.
